Ex-Ronaldo Coach Praises Bayern's Harry Kane: "Never Seen Anything Like It"
Harry Kane, the star striker for FC Bayern Munich, has received exceptional praise from Anthony Barry, a former assistant coach at the club.
Barry, who also served as an assistant to Thomas Tuchel at Bayern, declared, "He's the best goalscorer I've ever worked with." He elaborated, "And that's among all the great strikers I've worked with, including Cristiano and all those other players." Barry first met CR7 when he was part of Roberto Martinez's staff for the Portuguese national team.
Kane is considered a strong contender for this year's Ballon d'Or award for the world's best player in the past year. The ceremony is scheduled for October 26th in Paris. Alongside Kane, Lamine Yamal (FC Barcelona) and Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) are also seen as having excellent chances to win the Golden Ball for the first time.
Barry specifically highlighted Kane's preparation during warm-ups, where he consistently scores spectacular goals. "They say it was 'phenomenal,' but I'd say for Harry, that's just normal. What you see during warm-ups, the ball control, the precision: it's simply a level I've never experienced before," the Englishman remarked.
Harry Kane's Season So Far
This current season, Kane has netted six goals and provided two assists in seven competitive matches for Bayern. Since his €95 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur, he has consistently led the scoring charts for the Munich club.
He recently set a new record for reaching 100 Bundesliga goals in the fewest number of appearances. Kane achieved this milestone in just his 98th German top-flight match, during Bayern's 7-0 victory over Union Berlin.
