"I'm starting a new chapter with Red Bull. I'm proud to be part of the family," Davies wrote in his Instagram caption, accompanied by images featuring him with a Red Bull can and cap.

This decision is likely to be met with considerable disapproval from FC Bayern's passionate supporters in Munich. The club's active fan base is a well-known opponent of the Red Bull corporation and its perceived over-commercialization and influence in football. This opposition frequently manifests through anti-Red Bull banners displayed at matches and boycotts of away games against RB Leipzig.

Widespread Criticism of Red Bull's Football Model

The core of the fans' discontent lies in the belief that Red Bull's various football projects are primarily established to market the Red Bull product itself, making football merely a means to an end.
