Italy's head coach, Roberto Mancini, spoke to Rai1 after the team's 3-1 victory over Turkey. "Despite making changes, we were good at getting back into the game, scoring, and scoring again," he stated. "The only certainty was that we would lose some playing fluidity due to the substitutions; it was expected."

Regarding the substitutions, Mancini explained, "Some players were already booked, and the referee seemed ready to book them again, so I substituted them. Romano? He can also play as a central midfielder; he needs to play these matches."

Looking ahead, Mancini commented, "We'll see the November matches. We'll likely go play in Belgium."
